How long does setup take?
About 5 minutes total. Creating your widget takes 2 minutes, connecting Stripe takes 2–3 minutes, and pasting the code into your website takes under a minute.
Do I need a developer or any technical skills?
No. If you can copy and paste, you can do this. We give you one line of code to paste into your website — no coding knowledge required.
What website platforms does it work with?
It works on Squarespace, WordPress, Wix, Weebly, and most other platforms that allow custom HTML. If you're unsure, get started and email us — we'll help.
Do I need a Stripe account?
Yes — Stripe is how you receive payments. It's free to create a Stripe account and takes about 2 minutes. You'll connect it after you create your widget.
Pricing & payments
How much does it cost?
Free to set up, no monthly fees. We charge an 8% service fee per transaction, paid by the purchaser at checkout — not by your restaurant. See our Pricing page for details.
Does my restaurant pay anything?
No setup fees, no monthly fees. Stripe charges their standard processing fee (2.9% + 30¢) which is deducted from your payout. That's the only cost to you.
How quickly do I get paid?
Payments go directly to your Stripe account and deposit to your bank on Stripe's normal schedule — typically 2 business days after a sale.
Gift cards & redemption
How does a guest redeem a gift card?
The guest presents their gift card code (received by email). Your staff enters the code and your 4-digit staff PIN at the redemption page. The balance is deducted instantly.
Can gift cards be partially redeemed?
Yes. A guest can use part of their gift card balance on one visit and use the remainder on future visits. The remaining balance is tracked automatically.
Do gift cards expire?
No — gift cards never expire.
Can guests schedule gift card delivery for a future date?
Yes. Purchasers can choose to deliver the gift card immediately or schedule it for a future date — perfect for birthdays and holidays.
